Riley with Tina & Tim {Hong Kong Family Photographer}

Riley – I am still not sure what was more attractive. Was it her smile, her curls, the way she never forgot her mommy’s bag, or her vocabulary (remember she isn’t even 2 yet!). She would go marching ahead, picking up little petals for her doting parents. Every now and then, she’d find something amusing..and would laugh in a way that would thrill anyone with a camera!

In just over an hour she had given me so many moments to capture. I had a tough time telling myself to close this session!!

Thank you, Tina and Tim! Riley, hope to meet you again!

Prayaas – Charity day at IRC

Prayaas is a non-profit start-up initiated by a group of Indian expats in Hong Kong.
On the 2nd of October, Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, Prayaas organised its first public fundraising event. Despite the rain Gods not showing too much mercy, the day saw plenty of participation in both outdoor and indoor activities. Cricket was certainly the highlight of the day, but the event really had something for everyone.
When I was not behind my lens, I picked up some gorgeous earrings by Shikha Lamba(Forgive me, I’m only a woman!), savoured some delicious bakes by Japneet/Party Mate, and even won the most beautiful prizes in a round of Bingo. Beautiful especially coz these were handmade at one of the centers that Prayaas supports.
The fact that we were all there for a good cause, brought a lot of meaning to my day. I think I smiled a lot more, and saw quite a few faces with a similar joy writ on them.

Noah – 5 Yrs

Noah. This handsome, young man, was not camera shy at all. Running, jumping, bubbles.. I had a good time interacting with him, even when I was not behind my lens.
Some of my favourite shots from that morning were during his “down” time, at the end of the session. It was his unwind time when he ran into the fountains at Hong Kong park, and I think I was just fortunate to be there to capture those moments.
Here is a glimpse of that morning. Visit the album on Facebook to view some more pics.
